Fort William Mountain Festival 2009 Film Competition

Whether you're a budding film-maker just starting out or an established auteur, we

encourage you to enter the Fort William Mountain Festival's film competition. 'By a Thread' mountain film

 

Find out who won in the 2008 competition

 

The categories are:
- Young Filmmaker (under age 18)
- Best Scottish Film
- Best International Film

- Best Short Film (approximately 15 mins or less)


The theme of the film must be about adventure but this can be interpreted as widely as the filmmaker wishes.


Films should be no longer than 1 hour in length as longer than this is difficult to accommodate into the Festival programme.


Submissions by both professional and amateur filmmakers are accepted.

Prizes are as follows:
• Best Short Film £600
• Young Filmmaker £400
• Best Scottish Film £1,000
• Best International Film £1,000
