Scottish Award for Excellence in Mountain Culture
Nominate your candidate for 2009

We are now accepting nominations for the Scottish Award for Excellence in Mountain Culture. These are the criteria which someone must match to be considered as an eligible entrant to the award.

Nominators must demonstrate that their nominee:

1. Has promoted Mountain Culture over a sustained period of time and not less than 5 years. This promotion can take the form of outdoor enthusiast / writer / rescuer / artist / musician or any combination of the above.
2. Has encouraged and/or educated others to engage and indulge in Mountain Culture in either physical / artistic or musical methods.
3. Is or has been inspired by Mountain Culture and support it in all its various forms.
4. Has “achieved” within their own field of Mountain Culture & Excellence.

To be eligible, the nominator must be able to demonstrate that any recipient of the Scottish Award for Excellence in Mountain Culture can fulfil at least 2 or more of the above 4 criteria.
